Counselling for Adults & Young People

Helping you discover healing and enrich your life, Take the step to living the life you really want.

Treatment for issues like anxiety, depression, low self esteem, bereavement and trauma.

Your space for respectful, safe and confidential counselling

I truly believe in the transformative power of counselling and the enormous benefits it can have in your life. As an integrative counsellor, I have studied in depth a range of different counselling theories and blend them in a way that's beneficial to you, respecting your autonomy while providing the right environment within the therapeutic relationship to grow in the direction you want.

In this environment we can explore your life, your problems, issues or changes you want to make at a pace and in a way that suits you. That can be by talking or maybe you would prefer to work creatively, it is your choice.

About me

I knew I always wanted to help people and dealing with life's challenges gave me the idea of following my passion and becoming a therapist. I started by completing my Level 2 and Level 3 Counselling skills followed by a Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling.

During this time I volunteered at Samaritans for three years which developed a strong interest in supporting people with suicidal ideation. Working with young people was something I wanted to do, so I went on to study BACP Level 1 Competencies for counselling 4-18 year olds.

This led to working as Lead Counsellor at a secondary school in Kent and I have extensive experience working with children and young people. I have a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism and was a counsellor at Bemix, a charity supporting people with learning difficulties and/or autism. I am experienced in working with bereavement with a Certificate in Bereavement Counselling.

Collaborative support for your growth

I will listen to you and talk through the problems, worries, or troubles you may have. Together, we can put a plan in place to enable you to achieve your goals—or perhaps you simply want to learn more about yourself. The choice is yours to discover as we embark on this exciting journey together. I have a library of psychoeducation and coping strategies to help you if you are struggling.

Discovering yourself through counselling

Counselling is an opportunity for you to become more in tune with who you are, what you want, and to gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and goals. I use counselling tools like active listening, reflection, and the safety of the therapeutic relationship to explore what is happening for you. These methods can help bring clarity and insight as we work together to address your challenges.

Creative approaches to therapy

If agreed upon by you, I can also incorporate creative approaches during our sessions, such as sand tray, painting, drawing, play, and working with clay. These methods can add a new dimension to the therapy process, offering deeper insights and understanding of yourself. Counseling is an exciting journey, and I look forward to accompanying you on this path of self-discovery and growth.
